By taking traditional Korean Dancheong motif work and pairing it with a bold, minimalist modern sans-serif layout, the design pays homage to Korean culture while giving the book a contemporary, sophisticated feel for today's readers.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/164/164382/attachment_164382045 "To ensure perfect brand alignment, I began by conducting a deep dive into the official \"Pop-Up Sports\" website. By extracting key visual elements and motifs directly from the brand’s existing digital presence, I ensured that this poster feels like an authentic extension of their identity.
For the visual execution, I utilized slanted typography as the focal point. This was a deliberate choice to convey speed, energy, and forward momentum—core values of the brand. By pairing this dynamic text with a clean, high-contrast layout, the design achieves maximum readability, ensuring the brand’s message is impactful even when viewed from across the street. This project balances energetic sports aesthetics with the technical precision required for professional A-frame signage.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/163/163582/attachment_163582524 "While the client initially provided a clear direction, I felt it was important to offer a unique alternative that captured the raw emotional depth of the book's message. My concept focused on a \"Modern Editorial\" aesthetic, using a cinematic high-contrast layout to visualize the invisible weight of coaching pressure.
The final artwork balances heavy typography with evocative imagery—featuring a whistle that transitions into a cage of \"tough love\" slogans, trapping the central figure. This creates a powerful visual metaphor for the power dynamics discussed in the book. To meet the client's specific feedback, I integrated subtle \"cracked\" details into the word \"WOUNDS\" to further emphasize the theme of being broken under pressure.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/163/163363/attachment_163363671 "The core of this design is capturing the \"divine moment\" through light and shadow. Initially, the author had reservations about the sunset setting, noting that pilgrims are typically already in a village by dusk.
Through proactive communication, I shared the conceptual vision behind the light: this wasn't just a typical sunset, but the symbolic \"Golden Hour\" representing the book's title, The Camino Provides. I envisioned a rare, magical moment where clouds break to offer peace and direction, adding a layer of \"spiritual magic\" to the series' established aesthetic.
The author ultimately embraced and praised this creative reasoning (\"I like your reasoning... I do love this design\"), leading to a final cover that balances reality with cinematic storytelling. This project highlights my commitment to merging professional design logic with thoughtful client dialogue to achieve a winning result.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/163/163227/attachment_163227999 "In this project, the client had a very clear vision and style in mind for the 'Provo Cinema' poster. Working closely with their provided references and specific photographic context, I translated their ideas into a high-end, minimalist vector illustration inspired by the classic WPA (Works Progress Administration) aesthetic.
Key focus was placed on:
Typographic Consistency: Aligning the modern typography with the vintage marquee branding.
Texture & Craftsmanship: Implementing 'softened screen-print' line-work and vintage paper textures to avoid a sterile digital look.
Balanced Palette: Curating a sophisticated color scheme that captures the heritage of the building against the Utah landscape.
The final result is a seamless blend of nostalgia and clean, modern design that strictly adheres to the client’s creative direction.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/163/163098/attachment_163098393 "A clean, sophisticated, and high-impact two-sided flyer designed for the Georgia Residential Land Development Council (GRLDC).
The project involved translating a complex dues structure into a clear, visually organized table while maintaining a premium brand identity. The design features a modern-minimalist aesthetic, utilizing a bold \"dark mode\" palette inspired by the organization’s corporate colors.
Key focus areas:
Strategic Hierarchy: Strong typography to emphasize the core mission: \"Georgians Deserve Affordable Homes.\"
Data Visualization: A structured, easy-to-read layout for multiple membership tiers and investment levels.
Professional Polish: High-end vector elements and a surrealist sunset imagery to evoke a sense of community and hope.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/163/163017/attachment_163017218 "A Harmonic Fusion of Identity and Place.
This project for Hispanic artist Lucia De Paz was centered on capturing the organic, emotive essence of her Soft Rock album, \"Landscapes.\" The goal was to move beyond a traditional portrait and create an artistic visual metaphor that connects the artist to her roots.
The Process:
Using a Double Exposure technique combined with an Abstract Collage style, I integrated Lucia’s portrait with the rugged silhouettes of the Los Angeles mountain ranges. I utilized painterly brushstrokes and paper-texture overlays to provide a tactile, \"hand-made\" aesthetic that resonates with the authentic instrumentation of the genre.
Typography & Color:
I curated a palette of earthy, muted tones—terracotta, sage, and warm sand—to evoke the natural beauty of the West Coast. The typography features a sophisticated contrast: a modern sans-serif for the artist's name and a timeless serif for the title, ensuring a balanced and professional composition.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/162/162081/attachment_162081203 "A bold, service-driven door hanger featuring two sides: one with a technician pouring oil and a $25 discount, the other showcasing service offerings and a location map. The layout balances promotional urgency with clarity, guiding customers through oil types, service options, and contact details.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/161/161700/attachment_161700365 "A bold, sensual podcast cover featuring elegant white and gold typography over a rich red satin background. The design evokes warmth, confidence, and emotional depth, aligning with themes of intimacy, nervous system healing, and sexual wellness for adults over 50.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/161/161221/attachment_161221783 "A high-energy, illustrated book cover designed for the children’s sports and motivation genre. The layout features six basketball players in dynamic action poses against a starry backdrop, visually reinforcing themes of grit, teamwork, and aspiration. Bold white and yellow typography ensures strong hierarchy and thumbnail visibility, while the subtitle and tagline promise epic tales, trivia, and life lessons from basketball legends.
This cover balances excitement with clarity, making it ideal for young readers and sports fans. Designed for both print and digital formats, it captures the spirit of competition and personal growth in a visually engaging way.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/160/160891/attachment_160891636 "A premium book cover designed for the dating and self-help niche, blending masculine energy with aspirational elegance. The textured black background and gold brush-stroked crown evoke status and transformation, while the bold typography ensures genre alignment and thumbnail clarity. Structured for both digital and print formats, this layout guides the eye from title to promise to author, reinforcing credibility and conversion. Every element supports the book’s core message: confidence, attraction, and results-driven empowerment.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/159/159800/attachment_159800169 "A clean, emotionally resonant book cover designed for the relationship and self-help genre. The layout uses bold red and blue typography on a white canvas to emphasize clarity and warmth. A geometric heart wearing headphones anchors the concept — symbolizing empathy, active listening, and emotional connection. The subtitle is structured for readability and impact, reinforcing the book’s promise of deeper love, trust, and understanding. Designed for both digital and print formats, this cover balances visual simplicity with psychological depth, making it ideal for thumbnail visibility and genre alignment.")
