They were looking for a modern minimalistic label. The label should give a premium look to the product.
The client's suggestion was the use of the initials F and P. I thought that the full name would be a better option because the name of Ferdinand Pieroth is already widely known.
\"The current font usage of Pieroth is only available to a range of wines produced from the Pieroth Estate/Weingut Pieroth. The key elements of the Estate branding such as the P and the P 1675 are NOT available for use in the Ferdinand Pieroth label. There is a separate existing range of wines that uses the P on its label.
IMPORTANT - The customer needs to understand that the Ferdinand Pieroth wine does NOT come from the Weingut/Estate production but at the same time, needs to be associated with the Pieroth. We understand this is a design challenge as the key look of the Estate/Weingut are not to be used in the Ferdinand Pieroth wine.\"")
