The whole mark comes from one gesture: the accent on the E is drawn as a falling drop of sap, so the symbol and the wordmark are the same stroke rather than two objects that have to be kept in agreement. The board carries what a supplier actually needs - the logotype and its reversed lockup, clear space stated as a multiple of the stem, a 14 mm minimum size measured rather than guessed, a four-step ink palette and one card application. Letterforms cut from a Didot at 300/1000 em tracking with a geometric light as support.")

The problem with a scent is that it cannot be shown, so the sheet does not try: the headline carries the idea and the product is left almost unlit, holding the lower two thirds in near-black so the eye lands on the type first. Set on a single 12-column grid with the practical information (period, venue, hours) locked to one baseline row at the foot, so a reader who only scans the bottom edge still leaves with the date and the address. Japanese and Latin type are optically matched rather than nominally matched, and the whole sheet is held to four ink values so it survives cheap offset. Typeset in code and exported at print resolution.")

The headline is the whole poster: two lines set at a size that reads across a gymnasium, with the player held in monochrome underneath so the green stays the loudest thing on the wall. The bottom band carries the next game as a single row - date, tip-off, opponent, venue - and three QR codes are given equal weight so nobody has to guess which one is for them. Nothing that must be read sits in the lower quarter, which is where bodies stand.")

Every number on the board was measured from the actual raster: the satin column runs 3.68 mm against a 1.2 mm minimum, the secondary line at the same weight would fall to 1.11 mm and close its counters, so it was thickened to 1.26 mm - the smallest form in which both lines survive on a 2.5 inch cap front. The arched front-panel version and the flat version are the same artwork rearranged, not two drawings, so a digitiser runs one file. No typeface is used anywhere in the mark; the letters are drawn.")
