She had an older WordPress site, but Squarespace offered a more user-friendly platform. We collaborated on the site's design, including layout, images, colors, and organization. Search engine optimization (SEO) is essential for any modern website, and we incorporated best practices throughout the development process. My client optimized the image files for web use and created descriptive file names. To track the site's performance and ensure potential clients could find it, I set up Google Search Console and Google Analytics. This not only strengthens SEO but also aids in accessibility.")

When the site started to feel dated, he contacted me. We then migrated the site to Squarespace 7.1 Fluid Engine, incorporating new and refreshing design ideas. The client engaged the services of an artist who provided us with the sketches on the site. We collaborated on refining the site's outline and layout to achieve the final result.
I also created many short, informative videos for the client to keep as reference when he needs to make changes.")

The text describes a close relationship between Lindbloom and some of the most important jazz musicians of her time, including Sonny Rollins, Cecil Taylor, Ornette Coleman, and Steve Lacy. She was part of the creative and avant-garde art scene.
As a gay artist in a less tolerant time, Lindbloom's work is said to reward attentive and prolonged viewing. Her writings reveal a dedicated and humane person.")

"I don't know if it was just luck, or whether bluebluelake (George) was so insightful that he read me correctly at the very start and tailored his approach accordingly, but his style of communication and design service was just right for how I work. This was my first ever attempt at creating a website, so I knew nothing on the technical end. I told him at the start that I needed pointed technical assistance on how to achieve various effects and layouts on SquareSpace as I designed and developed my website. His approach was to create very short, succinct instructional videos—each between 10 to 30 seconds long (no fluff, filler or wasted time)—that he would forward to me, showing on screen, on my developing website, exactly where to point and click and which menu items to utilize to get me where I wanted to go. He also provided guidance and/or suggestions on certain basic website managerial content that I hadn't been thinking of, as well as SEO guidance. He presents a calm, laid-back demeanor, paired with a very direct, streamlined problem solving approach. Also, he was fine working with my weird schedule, where sometimes I was going fast, and other times I was on radio silence for weeks at a time while I worked on other things. I developed and input my own content for the website, while bluebluelake provided the technical know-how to facilitate it coming to fruition. I enjoyed working with him. "
