My process was highly collaborative: I tested her brand fonts against the template defaults side by side through video walkthroughs so she could see options before deciding, then migrated her content and imagery at her own pace. We also troubleshot a few template quirks together, like a header overlap and an oversized nav item, looping in the original designer when needed. The result was a polished, personal site she felt confident managing herself, with custom typography, SEO groundwork, and a smooth launch — plus a client who called the process \"an absolute breeze\" and said she was \"already seeing a major increase in traffic.\"")

I began by discussing her goals, inspiration, and pain points, then developed a warmer, more inviting design using a mid-century-inspired colour palette with rust red and warm neutrals as accents, paired with elegant serif and clean sans-serif fonts. The redesign included a refreshed home page with a striking banner and horizontal icon row, restructured portfolio and gallery pages, a more concise \"cozy corner\" blog layout, embedded Google Reviews, a redesigned pricing page, and updated contact points throughout. I also created instructional videos so Katie could confidently swap out images and manage layouts herself going forward. The result was a cohesive, elevated site that felt true to her brand and made a far stronger first impression on potential clients.")

I refreshed the visual design with a softer, more personal aesthetic — updated colour palette, curved section dividers, rounded image edges, and a shift from generic cleaning stock photos to warmer, people-focused imagery that better reflected her brand. Since her pricing varied by home size and service type, I restructured the site's main call-to-action around a detailed \"request a quote\" form rather than fixed pricing or a shop-style layout, and reorganised the services page to feature her premium offering with accordion sections below. I also handled full on-site SEO following Squarespace best practice. The result was a polished, personable site aligned with how Danisha actually wanted to run her business, giving her a clear path for prospective clients to reach out and get a custom quote.")

I began with a full audit of her existing layout and content, then worked closely with Aleks to reimagine the site as a calm, nurturing space reflecting her teaching style — prioritising whitespace, light, and intuitive navigation. The redesign included a new Life Coaching page, a restructured home page with improved flow, Substack integration as her writing hub, a dynamic announcement bar for current courses, custom CSS and third-party plugins, and updated navigation, mobile design, and SEO. I also created instructional video tutorials so Aleks could confidently manage the site going forward. The result was a cohesive, soulful redesign that feels emotionally resonant and user-friendly.")

Working from her case studies and a few design references, I built a clean, responsive Squarespace site with sections for case studies, expertise, a work timeline, testimonials, and contact — using tabs and accordions to organise dense content without clutter. The process was highly iterative: we explored several colour palettes (adjusting one that unintentionally echoed a past employer's branding), balanced colour blocks against white space for her tech-industry audience, and refined details like above-the-fold content and testimonial display. I also handled the Squarespace 7.1 upgrade and troubleshot domain/DNS/SSL issues to get everything live smoothly. The result was a professional, personality-filled portfolio delivered in days — helping Karli apply for jobs right on schedule.")

Siobhan approached me to refine her existing Squarespace site — one she’d designed herself, but which needed to better reflect the calibre and confidence of her copywriting work. The goal was to elevate her online presence with a cleaner layout, improved flow, and subtle sophistication, without losing her sense of creative edge.")

Philip J. Mancini Jr. is a former law enforcement leader and current criminal justice professor whose work bridges leadership, ethics, and personal development. He wanted a clean, minimalist redesign of his Squarespace website to reflect his evolution as a writer and speaker while providing a clear structure for essays, Substack integration, and a dedicated section for his personal development framework, You Need A Goal.")

Stuart and Sarah were launching To Africa, a new boutique travel agency offering custom safaris throughout Southern Africa. They came to me with a basic Squarespace site that needed refinement — a more professional, cohesive design that reflected their local expertise and encouraged visitors to get in touch, rather than browse passively.
The project goals were clarity, simplicity, and visual polish — balancing the warm, adventurous energy of African travel with the trust and professionalism needed to appeal to Australian clients.")

Julie Frumin is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has spent years running a private practice in California. As her career expanded into public speaking and authorship, her existing website no longer reflected her evolving identity. She wanted a sleek, contemporary site that unified her therapy work with her growing speaking career, while honouring her grounded, human-centred approach.")
