Process:
The final mark was developed from the brand initials, carefully refined into a clean geometric symbol inspired by movement, structure, and modular storage systems. I have designed modern \"B\" with abstract Mountain incorporated.

Macaluso is a heritage luxury pool builder based in Santa Barbara, specializing in custom residential swimming pools and spas since 1954.
Creative Direction:
I developed a stylish custom initial “M” inspired by the shape and movement of a shark fin. The concept was chosen to symbolize:
- Strength and precision
- Fluid motion connected to water
- Confidence and premium craftsmanship
- A bold yet elegant visual identity
The sharp flowing geometry of the fin allowed the monogram to feel modern and luxurious while subtly connecting to the aquatic industry without using obvious pool imagery.
