Working with Tim (Wax'd) was fantastic from start to finish. They were one of the only designers who truly understood the concept I was looking for - a minimal logo with a hidden twist that would work for my film production company.
Their execution was flawless - they nailed the pupil placement in exactly the right spot, created clean geometric forms that feel sophisticated, and delivered a logo that's professional enough for corporate clients but memorable enough for the film industry. The color treatment and typography choices were spot-on for our brand.
What impressed me most was their ability to balance subtlety with impact. The logo works perfectly as a simple K from a distance, but reveals its hidden eye element up close - exactly the "sleek black box with something unexpected inside" feeling I was after.
Communication was great throughout the process, and they were responsive to feedback. The final deliverables were comprehensive and professional.
This designer clearly has a strong understanding of brand identity and conceptual design. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again or recommend them to others looking for thoughtful, strategic design work.

"I've been looking for a go-to designer for years, and I finally found the one. This was my second project with Wax'd - the first was a logo contest in which Wax'd was the winner. I was so impressed by his creativity and professionalism, he was my instant pick for who should build out the rest of the brand. So I hired Wax'd again to create a branded Powerpoint deck, continuing from the logo he designed, and he did such a remarkable job. I absolutely loved the final product. All along the way, Wax'd took my feedback and turned around a revision within a day. I never had to check in with him, because Wax'd was just SO on top of delivery timelines as well.
