In the near future we will be selling guns and ammo but I do not want a gun in the logo. I would like to concentrate on \"archery\" and outdoors (ie hunting... we will probably get into selling fishing gear in the near future also)")

But they work on the islands year round doing remodeling, construction, site work, septic systems, docks, etc. They also provide delivery for contractors (building supplies, aggregates etc) and also transportation for vehicles like the power company when the island is without power. They have 2 barges and several boats, plus us snowmobiles in the winter. The target is mostly island customers. Their current logo includes the mountains, lake and their barge. They want something that incorporates those in the design. The name can be shortened on some concepts to Island Service Co. (instead of Company) if it works better. They do have heavy equipment (excavator, skid steer, dump trucks etc) so they are a one-stop shop for island services. That said they want to focus on the island/barge route as that has been their identity up to this point.")

This venture is deeply rooted in the legacy of our father, Bill (nicknamed \"Wild Bill\" at the end of his life), who passed away in October 2023. He was a remarkable man: a single father who raised three sons in Texas in the early 70s and a passionate car racer and enthusiast. He retired in 2010 in the small, unique fishing town of San Leon, TX, known for its oyster farms, beautiful sunsets and a history tied to the pirate Jean Lafitte.")

"Provided a simple design and others with more creativity. It was hard to choose. Altaris Design was persistent and wanting more input to make the logo the best. I highly recommend. "
