"We were disappointed with the service and communication we received from this designer, especially compared to our past experiences with other designers on 99designs. The designer did not deliver what was specified in the brief despite further requests and showed little to no empathy or flexibility once selected. While possibly fair objectively (giving benefit of doubt), he did not provide the variations that are expected for a logo deliverable and it was simply too painful to even bother asking: https://support.99designs.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029222291-Can-I-present-multiple-logo-variations-in-a-single-Contest-entry. This experience falls short of the high standards we’ve come to expect from top designers on 99designs. There are other designers who offer similar or better quality work but with much better communication and customer care."

"I’m sorry that things escalated to this point leaving both of us disappointed by the experience, however client expected 5 logo out of one logo design contest. I politely explained that what he called variations were different logo and offered to carry on a one to one project. He didn’t like the idea and as I suggested, he contacted the help centre which informed him that his request was out of scope and reiterated the one to one project option.
I’d suggest the client to better value time and work of designers, after all I’m sure he wouldn’t sell 5 cocktails for the price of one in his bar!"
