Through poverty, uncertainty, marriage, motherhood, divorce, domestic violence, career challenges, and moments when giving up seemed easier than moving forward, Brisa chose faith, education, and herself.
More than a memoir, this book is an invitation to every woman who has questioned whether she belongs, wondered if it is too late to begin again, or carried a dream bigger than her circumstances.
With vulnerability, courage, and practical lessons, Dr. Lagunas reminds us that our past can shape us without defining us. Your beginning is part of your story, but it does not have to be your ending.")

As teenagers, they fell hopelessly in love and promised to grow old together.
They kept that promise—until Alan’s Disease, an advanced form of Alzheimer’s, erased their memories.
Years later, an experimental treatment gives them one last chance to remember. All they have is a faded note from their youth: a list of the songs they once loved. One song stands out.
So they listen.
With every melody, memories return. But so do the truths they forgot—including why their forever never went as planned.
After a lifetime of finding their way back to each other, they have only a little time left to remember why they fell in love.
Because sometimes, the greatest love story isn’t about remembering someone forever.
It’s about finding them again before it’s too late.")

The design combines a forensic case-file aesthetic with torn-paper imagery, archival photography, a fingerprint detail, and a partially revealed pair of eyes to create tension and visual intrigue.
The contrasting black, off-white, and deep red palette reinforces the themes of crime, investigation, danger, and unresolved truth. Typography was intentionally bold and highly structured, giving the title a strong thriller-market presence while maintaining a sophisticated editorial feel.
The full wraparound design extends the visual narrative across the front cover, spine, and back cover, creating a cohesive physical-book experience.")
