Picture a tough, geometric mashup of O and L, locked together with a saw-blade edge that means business. For the merch, I loosened things up with a hand-painted, mid-century brush script and bold banners—think classic, but with a bit of swagger. The whole look pops in golden-yellow, black, and white, so it stands out whether it’s stamped on paperwork, splashed across a bulldozer, or stitched onto a work shirt.")

This retro-inspired wordmark combines a strong, confident font locked in with secondary type and complementary colors that reinforce the brand at every touchpoint. The result? A mark that’s just as at home on a shop sign as it is on a t-shirt. Shop-ready, merch-ready, and ready to turn heads.")

Everyone was happy with the results.")

This label was for a small craft brewery in Tega Kay, South Carolina. The Roaring 20's and American Prohibition era serve as the inspiration for their visual aesthetic.
We went with some vintage-type treatment along with a 1930 Ford Grill as a visual touchpoint. We knocked out the white underlay to achieve an aged-brass look to accent the type and flourishes.")

The second largest event in Sturgis is called the Mustang Rally. This year they went with a Palomino-inspired theme for the pale ale.
Process-wise. I always begin in pencil and paper, then I move to a raster program such as Procreate or Photoshop to do my sketching. I finally move into Adobe Illustrator to finish the graphic in vector format.")

.
This is a beer label I knocked out for a collaboration between the Sturgis Brewing Co. and the Sturgis Mustang Rally. The Sturgis Mustang Rally takes place on Labor Day weekend and is the second largest event in Sturgis behind the world-famous Motorcycle Rally.
.
The Ford Mustang was named after the WW2 fighter plane, the P-51 Mustang. They gave me free rein on the artwork, only stating that “it should have a mustang in it”. They came up with the name at the end of the creative process. I went with the blocky stencil letters as a nod to the numbers stenciled on the fighter planes.

I love it when I have friends that finally have an ah-hah moment when they realize that Junk Wizard is a play on my name, Javier Weingart.
