:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/162/162361/attachment_162361412 "I love the Cyberpunk theme, and I also love the AKIRA manga and anime. I grew up with classic illustration styles that have stunning details, like AKIRA, Ghost in the Shell, and Alita: Battle Angel.
That's why, for this contest entry with the main theme of Cyberpunk and a Dystopian world, I created an illustration of a female model whose eyes are covered by a VR gadget. It represents her being isolated in her own world. The cables that seem to gnaw into her head symbolize how she's being force-fed with the overwhelming amount of information circulating on the internet today.
I drew it in the classic style of Katsuhiro Otomo — heavy on details, but with simple colors (negative on a black t-shirt). This makes the design look cool on dark clothing and pleasant to look at.

Color are simple. Comical, and also bold. Too bad this artwork couldn't get the prize. But at least i could display this artwork at my room tho hahaha.")

The eagle here becomes a symbol of courage and strength, which represents the brand. The thunderbolt accents add a vintage feel and make it look even more powerful.
All of this design was created by hand, using Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, and Adobe Illustrator.")

I also thought of taking this design to the next level by adding details that are all done manually. For this project, I used Clip Studio Paint and Adobe Photoshop.
The basic idea is a tower that channels data to the surrounding buildings, where those buildings represent PC hardware. I tried to combine Cyberpunk visual aesthetics with a futuristic feel. It was really enjoyable to create an artwork inspired by Cyberpunk manga, especially since I also love the Cyberpunk visual concept.")

So i am using an edgy combination between vermillion, charcoal, and ivory color. Using digital illustration as the main cover artwork. For give more modern looks, i am using modern style typography for most of this graphic accent. With a bit simple grungy texture for more clean and minimalist looks. As far this one is my favourite graphic for music productions.")
