Logo and branding elements for a high end fashion house.

This project developes branding elements working together such as logo, typeface, iconic pattern and illustration and represents a brand concept for a high end fashion house with a very edgy style reminiscent to a burner culture "Burning man" meets a high end high quality runway fashions. The image that the client wanted to use for the logo was a scarab Beatle. There are several concepts of scarab involved in this branding, from a heavly detailed, intricate illustration to a single, modern icon (water mark) of scarab made up of GG letters. The goal of this design, was to create something that not only stand out in the fashion but would but stand alone, make its own statement and tell a wonderful story.

We do like the current gestural “Ghost” Logo but open to any and all ideas. Feel free to use it or go in a totally different direction. We clearly want to consider all options. The only other two things we have to have are the words “Ghost Cellars” and the “2015” vintage. Again We are moving away from the Long Horn skull so no need to keep or use it. You could use “Paso Robles."

Logo design for Best Beer Japan - online seller of unique Japanese craft beer

The concept has been inspired by Maneki-neko, a common Japanese figurine which is often believed to bring good luck to the owner. The orginal maneki-neko holds a koban, a Japanese oval gold coin. In my design, the cat has a more realistic appearance and holds a modern version of koban: a beer caps with BBJ monogram. The color palette is reduced to red, black and white which are essential colours of Japan.

She wanted me to have clever and surreal twist including the natural process and many varieties of the tomato. She particularly loved gnomes, as they symbolise hard work and fairy vibe.
