Big Time Breaks
Big Time Breaks is a company which specializes in the sale of trading card case breaks. A case break is where a group of collectors come together, purchase a case of cards and they are then divied up and mailed out to their respective owners. The case breaks are performed live on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. We use social media to allow people to interact and share their passion of the trading card hobby. The hobby of trading cards is built around the unknown. There is an excitement to the mystery of opening cards. You could buy a $1000 case of cards and get nothing. You could also buy a $1000 case of cards and get a huge "hit" (autographed, jersey relic, etc). That is why it's important for me to convey fun and energy. Opening packs by yourself is fun, however when you don't get anything good out of the package it stinks. In a group break, you may not receive anything extraordinary, but you get the show and the interaction of friends.

I am looking for a branding logo - I am looking for something aesthetically pleaseing the logo's main purpose at this ts time is for the website so a 2 line logo with supporting illustrations is desired. This is opposed to a circular button style logo which are great for tshirts, that is not the style I seek at this time.

VOX DEORUM
This design had fantastic evolution. At first it was fleshed out in a very cartoony style until I had discovered the client was aiming for something with a bit more depth and meaning. Special emphasis was added in the area of negative space to simulate the Chimp coming out of the darkness. This was appropriate since the client was wanting something with depth to the design. The final product was designed by hand and was ultimately chosen as the winning entry.
