Logo design for Professor ELA, an English Language Arts curriculum writing business.

The design incorporates elements of heraldry (coat of arms) and a slab serif typeface - alongside symbols of language education (smart fox with writing pen nib, book, healthy apple) and a set of symbols of modern digital communication. The goal of the design is to convey a nostalgic feel of academics, tradition, authority, expertise with a contemporary footnote. Navy blue and red were the chosen colors, roughly aligning the design with many major institutions of education (major universities).
