This wine was made from an old vineyard (100 years), from the demarcated region of the Douro (Portugal). The choice of name was due to a common characteristic in the smell and flavors of the wines of this region, which is the Flore Esteva (Cistus ladanifer). From Esteva is removed a sticky resin that is used in homeopathy and as an ingredient in perfumery, by its name Ládano.
