Minimalist Dynamic Logo for a Next-Generation Sports Platform

My starting point for the logo was to try and encompass the essence of all sports without leaning towards a specific one in terms of iconography. The main concept of the logo is that sports is movement so I used the idea of representing and abstract depiction of orbit/planet as a symbol for perpetual movement.
