Sparx's Hardwood

Client opening a nightclub in NC. They hate to call it a gay bar since the crowd is really anyone, but anyway lack of a better term it will serve the gay community. The bar is themed around the fictitious idea that the building was once an abandoned saw mill that turned into 2 bars. Sparx's and Mr. Hardwood's the two bars where mortal enemies until through unique circumstances they realized they had more in common than they knew. So instead of building walls to separate them, they destroyed the physical wall that separated the two bars and become 1 big happy family. The other thing client wanted the X in Sparx's to be unique, sort a logo in a logo. Its much cheaper to use just a unique X on merchandise and signs than the entire logo. So they was thinking the Sparx's X with something done to it so that it stands out on its on. Like a logo within a logo. Just want the X to be different than the rest of the font and be able to be instantly recognizable on its on.

MG's Prime Time Cafe

We have a sports bar in an industrial park with a lot of warehouses. There are also a lot of residential neighborhoods within 3 miles. The previous owners failed because they would not change the atmosphere to allow for families to bring there kids in to eat. Also business didn't want their employees to be seen eating in a bar. Our new concept splits the building in half. The left side of the building has a separate entrance and will have a diner theme. It will have pictures up of Prime Time Shows from the 70's 80's 90s and today. It's family friendly with a kids menu. The right hand side is a sports bar. It is more like a Beef Obradys feel. It has pools tables, a dance floor, 23 TV's, a stage, video games etc. It will serve food, have nights with karaoke, bands, etc. It's theme will be Greatest Athletes of ALL TIME in each sport. Our audience is families and business workers during the day and a little of a younger crowd after work and at night.
