Flower of life, reimagined

Brand new logo design for Origin, commercial/residental building group. As per client's request logo was to be built on Flower of Life, sacred geometrical shape with six fold symmetry. As ancient as it is, symbol can be seen everywhere, so to make it more unique, I built this design on same geometry yet with hexagon as a base shape. Central hex coresponds to company initial and features accented teal shade to contrast soft gray. Paired with modern sans serif lettering, icon comes in flat and spherical 3D look providing plethora of variations to main brand logo.

Logo with a 1950s vibe. The client wanted purple used so I opted for high-contrast, dark purple against a low saturation cool green. Offered up some color variations in case the client found the main colors didn't work well for everything. The side-on diamond shape is both slightly retro and reminiscent of a canine tooth. All about the subtlety here. Relaxed flowing retro-style script font for the main text, paired with a more formal traditional retro caps font.
