Logo concept for "GENTE"
The GENTE Consortium is committed to providing integrated solutions that address education and environmental conservation for the people of Equatorial Guinea. Their projects are designed to enhance higher education, foster sustainable job creation, and safeguard the nation's diverse wildlife. Equatorial Guinea, the only Spanish-speaking country in Africa, is home to a wide variety of primates and sea turtle species.
The client's objective was to incorporate two powerful elements: women and nature. The design features the ceiba tree, a symbolic representation of the country, integrated into the woman's face, which was inspired by the Fang masks and sculptures of the Central African ethnic group. The Fang people make up approximately 85% of Equatorial Guinea's total population.
