Design a literary book cover for Jesus in the Air

The core idea is specific: a sand-textured background and a black cord necklace with two pendants – a silver cross and a black miniature sniper rifle – hanging as if worn around an unseen neck, with the typography placed inside the opening of the necklace. The title is the main focal text. The overall tone and feel serious, restrained, literary, contemporary, and emotionally credible, with the weight of war and faith present but not sensationalized. The cross and rifle feel believable as physical pendants, not symbolic clip art. Typography feel literary, classic, and contemporary at once – likely serif-led, with strong hierarchy and clean spacing. Subtle color in the typography if handled well, but the overall palette should remain restrained.
