TEA — Illustrated Book Cover Redesign | Vintage Floral Editorial Design

TEA — Illustrated Book Cover Redesign | Vintage Floral Editorial Design

A charming, vintage-inspired book cover redesign for TEA by Nicole Rose, combining delicate floral illustrations, soft pastel colors, and nostalgic editorial aesthetics. Inspired by traditional tea gatherings and classical still-life paintings, the design features a hand-painted composition of porcelain, roses, and subtle botanical details. The Wok And The Whisk

The Wok And The Whisk

Cover for Volume I of a five-book cookbook series, "French Knife, Asian Fire" — "The Wok & The Whisk." French technique meets the fire of Asia, 35 recipes, written by a World Master Chef with 30+ years across France, Canada, China, and Southeast Asia. The brief: one concept, one motif — your choice of a wok, a flame, or a knife — rendered as bold illustration, not photography. I want the kind of cover people remember and talk about without being told to. If it looks like what everyone else is doing, it's not right. This needs to be the first of its kind — instantly understood, impossible to mistake for anything else on the shelf. Why illustration: fusion is a concept, not one dramatic dish a photo can sell on its own. Illustration solves that; photography doesn't. This was the brief from he client. According to the brief I made the design concept and after some tweaks I ended up on this final version.

F A T

I've tried to stay on minimalistic approach (no images) but still, keep some story behind the letters. The letter A in the title resembles a silhouette of a person with a big belly (obese).
