Temple - Album Artwork for Gungor + Laura C

Temple - Album Artwork for Gungor + Laura C

The artwork represents a moment of recognition—meeting oneself and discovering a deeper connection to life. The mirrored figures suggest reflection, while their touching hands express acceptance and connection. Their bodies flow into botanical forms, creating an organic temple rather than a separate religious building. The same warm, light-like linework runs throughout the image, connecting the human, natural, and celestial elements. Together, these forms suggest that the sacred is not separate from embodied life, but encountered through it: within ourselves, in one another, and in the wider world we belong to.

Original album cover

Inspiration drawn from the brief: "The album is about returning to yourself after years of searching. It explores healing, love, surrender, remembrance, connection, and the realization that what you've been seeking has always lived within you. “Home.” is not meant as a physical place. It is a return to the heart and to yourself."
